Game 137 and it was originally meant to be Edinburgh City women Vs Renfrew women, decided to have a cycle as wasn't too far. Well the bike let me get a decent bit of the way before breaking :( so I turned home, luckily on the way I had spotted all 4 pitches at Blackburn United had games on. After lauching the bike back in the garage like a javelin I made my way over to pitch 4 to see Blackburn United U19s Vs Murieston United U19s.

THE GROUND
An old junior pitch, pretty chopped up, covered in dog mess as some members of the community use it as a big toilet and rarely pick up after their dogs. Buuuut its a pitch and so just grateful for some football after potentially missing out. At one point I counted over 40 people who were watching, which was a decent turn out to be fair.

THE PREDICTION
Arrived 15 minutes in when Blackburn United were already 1-0 up, so a prediction was abandoned. I did predict an Edinburgh City win, which was correct on the day lol.

DOWN TO THE ACTION
Blackburn started both half the brightest without really creating many clear chances, with Murieston settling into both half and created the majority and the best of them. The forwards for Muri were off target today or it could have been much worse for Blackburn.

The second goal for Muri was in the goal furthest away and it was a beauty. seen it curling up right into the top corner past a keeper at full stretch and absolute screamer (wish I had got this on video as would love to see it back) was too busy saying oooooft to even get the scorers number. Well in whoever it was!!!

IN CLOSING
FIX MY BIKE! - LEAVE IN PLENTY TIME! lol In fairness though it worked out not too bad, enjoyed the Blackburn game and saw an absolute belter of a goal. Was absolutely freezing so fair play to all the players, everyone involved and the decent number of people who turned up to watch. Scotland can be miserable to watch football in the winter, nevermind to play in. Speaks volume for the passion and dedication of the people involved and the fans in this country. It is easy to sit and watch football in Italy, Spain etc when it is roasting, lets see how loyal those fans would be sitting at Livi or Falkirk unable to feel their feet even with 6 pairs of socks on lol.

Turnstiles and Terraces - MAN OF THE MATCH
Never saw the whole thing and not sure of the players, so purely for one of the best goals you will see, I will give it to the scorer of Muri's second goal!

EXTRAS
Adding to the entertainment was one of the members of the Murieston team who on multiple occasions had to go stand up the corner flag nearest me, only for it to keep falling down again lol.

Noticed from my vantage just how squint the goals are at the top left.
