Game 22 coming to Blackburn United, who started today in 15th place, Lothian thistle perched in11th not far above. Blackburn haven't won a league game in six, in fact their last win came against Lothian Thistle with a 3-0 victory away.

THE GROUND
Purdie Worldwide Community Stadium, never away from here, nice set up, plastic pitch. Would love to see the tannoy utilised more (some music for when the home team scores, announce raffle etc) and would love to see the stand upgraded.

THE PREDICTION
Blackburn have been on a heavy poor streak since I started watching their home games during Lockdown. Thier last win in the league as said though was against this opposition so that meant I was backing the Burnie to do  it!

DOWN TO THE ACTION!
Was a real back and forth game, with enough to keep any neutral entertained, plenty goals, some spicy tackles, good saves, penalties and some really good play from both teams at times.

Blackburn went 1-0 down in 7 minutes leaving me with an awful feeling of ooh lord not AGAIN!! This despair was nearly added upon immediatley as the big Thistle No.9 got clean through on goal just after it. If not for the heroics of a one on one save low to the near post by Craig Saunders legs it would have been 2 and possibly heading for another nightmare game.

On the 17th minute Callum Heath would finish to pull it back to 1-1 before 5 minutes later slotting home a free kick to put the home team infront 2-1. View Here...

A penalty to Lothian Thistle HV would see them go level again at 2-2 View Here...

Blackburn would have a host of really close chances including a ball agonisingly rolling past the keeper before bouncing out of the post just out of the reach of a tap in. Andy McQuillan would also miss an opportunity on the line.
A LOTHIAN THISTLE HV player nearly smashed a back window of one of the houses behind the Blackburn goals in the second half. We are obviously happy for the homeowner thatit didn't but gutted for the footage we could have had lol.

Thistle would go up 3-2 on the 58th minute and would stay ahead until a penalty was awarded to Blackburn on the 72nd minute. It would be Michael Browne who would step up and make it all even once again 3-3. View Here...
Both teams had more chances to claim the victory, but in the end it finished all square, quite some game to watch.

IN CLOSING
All in all it wasn't the worst result for Blackburn, but the wins need to start coming soon. Would say it was a fair result for both teams given how the match went.

Turnstiles and Terraces - MAN OF THE MATCH!
The 'REFEREE' for his backheel on the 12 minute mark lol

Real choice is Craig Saunders, had a few moments that let himself down, but made 2 absolutely vital saves, both of which saw a player through on goal, the first stopped LTHV going 2 goals clear and the second one near the end absolutely saved Blackburn from defeat and rescued a point.
Wll in to the Big man, who isn't having his greatest run of form, but can still pull out the big stops when needed.

Also legit think he can kick the ball further than any other player in Scotland. (should be a test somehow lol)

EXTRAS
What a crazy world we live in, when behind me a group of kids playing football and ripping each other for being as bad as 'RONALDO' for missing tap ins WTF the fickle world of football eh lol.

Blackburn prepare for the corner while waiting on substitutions
frustration at the end, but a draw was a fair result
The big goalie about to send the ball into orbit
Lothian Thistle celebrating after scoring
Another view of the window that nearly got panned, lighter house on far right
