Well this was one I was certainly looking forward to, travel through beautiful areas, a beautiful old stadium with lots of character and a top of the table clash between Raith Rovers and Falkirk.
The Stadium
Starks Park is a stadium everyone should visit, a really unique looking older stadium with lots of character unlike the generic big bowls of the modern era. Located next to a beach and a 15 minute walk from the station, it really is a no brainer decision. Another good point is a score and time board, no football stadium should be without one.
The Football
Really good game, became a nervy affair (which was understandable with so much on the line). Raith looking at times like their was some sort of fifa 20 glitch on ps4 as the ball just wouldn't go in. Both really good sides, Falkirk having many chances to put Hearts out the Scottish Cup and Raith pretty much got mugged by Livingston at the Almondvale 3-1 much more than flattering for Livingston. A great game to watch, with some really good football by Raith and a great save by the Falkirk keeper.
A draw really could have been seen as fair, but I just felt Raith should have capitalised on one of their chances, a win would not have been more than they deserved on the day.
The Home Fans
The home fans were brilliant as expected, with only a small number seen at Livingston they certainly are passionate about their club. There were times I was worried as the stand genuinely shook with rovers faithfully bouncing to try and help their team over the line.
The Away Fans
A great following by Falkirk arrived with 1172 fans making the trip to try and help cheer on their team to top spot. When they scored the Blue touch paper was certainly lit in the stands but not so much on the pitch.
Again another club that offer a programme which is always a welcome bonus, well done again Raith Rovers.
